At SIHH 2016, Vacheron Constantin introduced the updated Overseas collection of sports yet extremely elegant high-end luxury watches consisting of 5 new models powered by accurate in-house movements: Chronograph, Simple Date, Ultra-Thin, Perpetual Calendar, and a smaller ladies watch. In addition to all these amazing new release watches, the Swiss Manufacturer is now launching one more Overseas model – Vacheron Constantin Overseas World Time 7700V that bears the Hallmark of Geneva. So let’s take a closer look at some of the most eye-catching Overseas designer watches!
Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4500V & Chronograph 5500V
These recently introduced new models of watches with trendy brown dials represent a perfect combination of the glorious Vacheron Constantin 260-year history and modern finishing techniques. Made of durable stainless steel, these high-end watches have much in common with their predecessors produced with blue and silver faces. However, their beautiful guilloche dials are distinguished by more elegant applied polished hour markers and hands. The case diameter of the classic Simple Date model is 41mm while the Overseas watch with chronograph is a little bit larger measuring 42.5mm. What is more, both models are also marked with the Geneva Seal.
Vacheron Constantin Overseas World Time 7700V
This new piece of great men’s watches emphasizing the theme of travel features a map of the northern hemisphere and displays 37 time zones that is much more than many luxury watch brands dare to place on a dial. Furthermore, this model is designed in three variations – with a brown, blue, or silver face – so that everyone can choose his ideal companion for travels according to the own taste. Another pleasant thing is that these excellent watches with multiple time zones are very user-friendly despite their complex construction principles. Each of them features a stainless steel case measuring 43.5mm х 12.6mm that makes this model the largest one in the Overseas collection. In addition, it is powered by a self-winding movement protected by three patents. It offers 40 hours of power reserve and operates at the frequency of 28,800 vph. In this way, this luxury watch model makes it possible to easily track the time almost anywhere in the world while remaining one of the most sophisticated timepieces by Vacheron Constantin.
It is also worth noting that each of the Overseas new release watches houses a soft iron cage installed around the caliber that protects the movement from the magnetism of up to 25,000 A/m. Moreover, all of them are water-resistant up to the depth of 150 meters and equipped with an easy-change system that allows to quickly swap straps/bracelet. Thus, each new luxury watch model comes with interchangeable alligator leather and rubber straps, as well as with a durable stainless steel bracelet.
