H. Moser & Cie.

The famous watchmaker Heinrich Moser was born in 1805 in a Swiss town Schaffhausen. At the age of 22 he immigrated to Russia, where he founded his own watchmaking company called H. Moser & Cie. that afterward supplied luxury watches to the Russian imperial court. H. Moser & Cie. watches were very popular among watch connoisseurs in many countries. That’s why while working in Russia, Heinrich Moser also spent much time for watch development in Switzerland. The new watch production line was built and settled in Le Locle. Moreover, in 1868, Moser with his partner Florentine Ariosto Jones established a new watch manufacture and named it the “International Watch Company”. Heinrich Moser died in 1875 leaving the flourishing business of watch production. In 1974, the inheritors of Heinrich Moser sold their Russian manufacture while the factory in Le Locle continued to work. But in 1980, the H. Moser & Cie. watch factory in Le Locle also closed.

Fortunately, at the end of 2005, the H. Moser & Cie. watch company was revived in Shaffgauzene. Nowadays, it creates luxury watches with the original samples of Moser’s vintage mechanisms. Their every detail is elegantly designed and mathematically calculated. Thus, the H. Moser & Cie. Company continues producing designer watches for men and women assembling them with the in-house movements. Now you have an opportunity to buy H. Moser & Cie. watches online on 300watches.com.
