This men’s Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 Perpetual Calendar, model number 90285-52-851-BAEA, is a new luxury watch, and a very rare one at that. Photos of the actual timepiece show that it is in excellent condition, with no signs of wear on the case, crystal, bezel, or strap. It is fully functional, guaranteed 100% authentic, and sells at a retail price of $54,550.

This piece features a gorgeous case made of 18k rose gold, surrounding a cream dial, with a perpetual calendar: At 3 o’ clock, you will find a date sub-dial; at 6 o’ clock, a moon phase; at 9 o’ clock, a day sub-dial; and at 12 o’ clock, a month sub-dial, with a leap-year indicator within it. An automatic movement powers these complications, along with the luminescent, gold-tone hour, minute, and second hands, which point to gold-tone, numeric hour markers.

The skeleton window in back gives you a view of the movement. The brown, leather strap uses an adjustable deployment clasp made of 18k rose gold, and will fit a wrist up to 8 inches. The case measures 32mm wide without the crown, and 48mm long with the lugs. The total weight of this watch is 3.4 oz. Girard-Perregaux is truly a remarkable luxury watch company, and one of the last to design and produce its own external and internal components. This has allowed the company to remain an important part of the luxury watch community since 1791.
