This men’s Cuervo y Sobrinos Esplendidos, reference number 2012, is a new luxury watch. Photos of the actual timepiece show that it is in excellent condition, with no signs of wear on the case, crown, crystal, bezel, or back plate. It is fully functional, 100% authentic, and sells at a retail price of $3,750.

This chic timepiece features a case made of stainless steel, surrounding a striking purple dial. An automatic movement powers the steel-tone hour, minute, and second hands, which point to stick and arrow markers.

The stainless-steel bracelet uses a butterfly clasp, and will fit a wrist up to 7.5 inches. The case measures 32mm wide without the crown, and 47mm long with the lugs.

Cuervo y Sobrinos began in sunny downtown Havana, in the late 1800s. Watchmaker Don Ramon Rio Cuervo founded a small boutique in Avenida Quinta, and began selling watches overseas. Now, the company carries on under his nephews, or “sobrinos,” manufacturing distinctively Cuban-style watches, powered by movements sourced from La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. These original designs were unlike anything produced by European watchmakers, and found much favor with a succession of famous clients, including Ernest Hemmingway, Winston Churchill, and Albert Einstein.
