This men's A. Lange & Sohne Doppelfederhaus, model number 110.030, is a gently pre-owned watch. It is in very good condition as evidence by the close up pictures of the actual watch. All of the functions work perfectly and there are no major signs of wear on the case, crystal, or strap. It is guaranteed 100% Authentic. The last known retail price for this luxury watch is $32,300.

It features a case, crown, and lugs made from 18K white gold. The back plate is screwed down and features a skeleton window that views the complicated manual mechanical movement. The case measures 38mm in diameter without the crown or lugs (41mm with the crown x 47mm with the lugs) x 10mm in thickness. Meanwhile, the black leather strap uses an 18k white gold tang clasp. It can fit a wrist up to 8.5 inches.

A very unique display is encased within the precious metal. One of the most noticeable is the Soiree dial which is a mixture of Mother of Pearl and guilloche, a very time consuming texture for any master watchmaker. An hour and minute indicator is featured on the left side of the display where 9 o'clock would usually lie. It uses silver toned Roman Numeral and diamond shaped hour markers along with black lined minute markers. Silver toned hour and minute hands point to the markers. A subsidiary seconds is featured where 5 o'clock would usually lie. It features black lined markers with a silver toned hand. An additional silver toned hand is featured pointing to a Power Reserve indicator on the right side of the display where 3 o'clock usually lies. A date window is also featured on the display and is located where 1 o'clock would usually lie.

Over his life time, Ferdinand A. Lange was regarded as a great man because of his dedication to his craft and his people. He was loved so much by the Glashutte people that he was named Mayor for 18 years. The pursuit for perfection did not stop after the master craftsman perished at the young age of 60. His two sons Robert and Emil took over his business, which was renamed A. Lange & Sohne, and began to develop as the well known company it is today. Over his span with the company, Robert developed 27 models and patents. One of these ground breaking patents, which is still used today, involves improving the alloy used for balance springs by adding beryllium to the metal.
